SEPTEMBER the Line / Modern Sustainable Swimwear for Lady Sliders
There is a special beauty in minimalism done well. And contrary to intuition, it’s not easy to pull off. Defying the odds, SEPTEMBER the Line is a stunning surf and swimwear brand with flattering minimalist lines and a classic, yet modern look.
Founded between NYC and Bali by designer Erika Seiko Togashi, SEPTEMBER stands out as one of the few women’s surf brands to masterfully fuse a balance of feminine, athleticism, and elegance.
Erika is a seasoned designer with a background in the fashion and outdoor industries. After designing for the likes of Patagonia, The North Face, J.Crew, and Deus Ex Machina, she combined her love of surf and design to launch her own independent label of sustainable swimwear.
The line has a mix of one-pieces, tops, and bottoms in a modern muted color palette with names like burnt sienna and chai. The one-pieces almost have a sculpted look with interesting cuts and thoughtful details.
Not only designed to make you look good, but SEPTEMBER’s swimwear will also make you feel good. The suits were specifically made to surf in (i.e. super comfortable and built to stay put), and sustainability is at the core of the brand.
